    Trust me, I'm an Estate agent

    Hi I'm Mat, the Sales Director and one of the four founders of Gatekeeper. I've headed up the Sales and Letting team from day one and it's my job to ensure that they're always as driven and passionate as I am.

    As we all work out of the same office I get to see every member of the team daily. This means that we have a really close knit team that focuses on what's important.

    At Gatekeeper we have always stayed true to our original vision of looking after property as if we were selling or letting for a close friend. This is reflected in our businesses success. I believe this is one of the reasons landlords, vendors, purchasers and tenants keep coming back to us.

    Hello, I'm Phil, one of the four founders of Gatekeeper and Director of Sales and Letting in Swindon. In 2003 I qualified as an estate agent with the NAEA and also as a mortgage advisor. Since then I have looked after most of our landlords and vendors by valuing property and discussing how to make the most of their properties.

    For me it is about helping people, making the most from their investment and making sure our customers receive a service that they simply can't find elsewhere.

    Hello, I'm Vanessa and one of the four founders of Gatekeeper and the Director of Finance. I've worked in every department of Gatekeeper but originally my background was in customer service for both Mothercare and Gap.

    In 2006 I qualified as an estate agent and set up the Property Care Team. Since then, our team has grown but retains the core values we cherish as a business. We all work together, which means we share knowledge without losing focus on our local markets. It has been brilliant to see our business grow as we look after more and more customers.

    Hello I'm Patrick, Managing Director and one of our founders here at Gatekeeper. I helped set up Gatekeeper together with Mat, Phil and Vanessa as a result of receiving poor service from High Street agents ourselves. We thought there must be a better way to sell and let property and didn't shy away from doing things differently.

    Since then, use of clever software and a unique approach has enabled us to offer better service and make our customers' properties work harder for them. We looked at everything from automatic rent reviews to reducing the void periods between lets and it really excited us.

    Since then, we have come a long way. With help from lots of customers (who consistently provide an overwhelming response to our surveys) we are constantly improving what we do to offer you more.
