New Recruits Required!

Its great to be able to talk positively about the business when so many sectors are full of doom and gloom stories (personally I am tired of listening to the same old negativity) - come on things are not all bad!
The continued growth and development of the Gatekeeper business means we are looking to recruit some new team members to work in our property care team.
We are working tirelessly to make sure that we recruit top quality people and get them trained ASAP so we can continue to offer the great level of personal service that has seen the business grow from strength to strength - even in the so called tough times.
We also have a few vacancies in some of our other branches which will further enhance the proposition for all of our customers. If you or some one you know is looking for a job/role in the property sector and wants to work for a thriving business check out the careers section of our website:

Hot Topic - 'Rent guarantee insurance, is it a good deal?'

This month has seen many questions about rent guarantee and legal protection insurance for Landlords.
In simple terms a rent guarantee policy pays out if a tenant defaults on rent payments (subject to an excess, as with all insurance policies).
In the current economic climate, with more uncertainty in employment some tenants do from time to time find themselves 'genuinely' short of funds (thankfully we have not been plagued with the issue, but the industry does have problems as a whole).
The added benefit of the policies that we have on offer is that the rent guarantee protection is supported by a legal costs package which means any legal bills are paid if legal action needs to be taken to gain possession of a property if a tenant does default.
With prices on average being under £10 per month for cover, I think it can be a worthwhile investment for any Landlord.

Customer Service July 2011

86% Customer satisfaction was achieved in the month of July, a dip from the 100% that was achieved in the prior quarter - the team and I are working through specific items so we can get back to the 100% we have seen!

- Phil Kendall (Regional Sales Director)

With the thought of summer holidays on everyone's mind (even I might get a holiday!) we have been amazed how busy July was and the start of August has been just as buoyant. We have seen more new landlords come to us for help than at any point in the year so far, and we are only to glad to oblige in placing top quality tenants.
Properties are still renting fast and at good rental rates so it is a great time to be a Landlord. I am sure August will see the good performance continue.
