Patrick Brady
Managing Director and Co Founder
Patrick helped found Gatekeeper in 2003 in Swindon. Having spent his career working for a diverse number of companies including Comet, BAA and Phones4U. Patrick has a vast experience in both in back of house process and up front sales drive. Having lead projects in Eurotunnel to set up product line and drive sales post duty free abolition to the major overhaul of the stock control programme in Heathrow. Patrick has helped drive the Gatekeeper customer proposition and ensure that the combination of great customer service, robust processes and excellent value for money are at the heart of the Gatekeeper Philosophy.

Mat Symons
Sales Director and Co Founder
Mat Symons is one of the founders of Gatekeeper. As Sales director Mat has been one of the driving forces in Gatekeepers success. He has ensured that the Gatekeeper portfolio has expanded at an impressive rate while maintaining its core values. Mat has extensive experience in both performance management and the commercial environment having worked for a number of blue chip retailers. Among his clients were many of the worlds leading businesses including Sony, Panasonic and Microsoft. Mat boasts many achievements and awards including holding the position of Regional Sales Director at Comet at tender age of 21 years (the youngest ever RSD). Mat has recently been listed in the Who's Who Elite Business Leaders Honours List.

Vanessa Mclean
Property Care Director and Co Founder
Vanessa is one of the founder members of the Gatekeeper team and has been a central part of our success and growth. Vanessa is a fully qualified NAEA estate agent and has worked in all areas of the Gatekeeper business from Sales to Finance. Vanessa was tasked in 2006 with setting up the Property Care Team which she still heads today. Her Background is in the retail industry including Gap and Mothercare as well as a property background at Chancellors estate agents

Phil Kendall
Regional Sales Director and Co Founder
Phil is another founder member of Gatekeeper and brings with him a wealth of experience. Phil is not only a fully qualified NAEA approved estate agent but also a fully qualified Mortgage advisor since 2004. Phil Currently looks after the south west area for Gatekeeper and is in the process of expanding the Gatekeeper brand through out this area.

Clarice Taylor
Property Care Account Manager
Clarice joined Gatekeeper Property Care Team in 2006 and gained promotion to her current position of Account Manager in 2007 after a brief spell working in the mortgage customer service team. Clarice was born and brought up in South Africa and is a keen South African Rugby Fan. She brings here expert property knowledge to the team in property compliance and process. Her previous experience is with Fox Lane Estate agents and Lochinvar

Marcela Pascall
Property Manager
After graduating from university, Marcela gained experience in customer service during her employment with a food supplements manufacturer in Prague. Marcela joined the Gatekeeper Property Care team after spending six years as a core member of the Witney Lettings team. Marcelas expert and general property management knowledge enables her to support customers in all areas of the business.

Samantha Gritton
Property Manager
Samantha joined the Property Care Team in 2009. Sam has worked for many prestigious employers such as NatWest and Vodafone. Her roles in all of these companies were centred on financial controls and customer service. The vast amount of knowledge and skills obtained in her previous roles equips her perfectly, and Sam is a very well respected part of the management team. Her keen eye for detail and friendly approach enables her to exceed customer expectations and continue to support the growth and progression of Gatekeeper.

Samantha Upton
Property Manager
Samantha studied Travel & Tourism and customer service at college and has gone on to work in the travel industry and then onto account management in the IT industry and the engineering industry. Sam relocated from Stourbridge in 2011 and is exceptionally proud of her ‘Black Country’ routes. Her outgoing and bubbly personality ensures all our customers get a great level of service, while her competitive spirit and determination (demonstrated during her time as competitive 400m runner) ensures she is always looking to improve our systems and processes to drive forward the overall performance of the Property Care Team.

Property Manager
Michael joined the Gatekeeper Property Care Team in 2011. Having come from Pearson the publishing power house, Michael has enjoyed a very successful and diverse career to date. His customer service background and extensive experience of account management means he fits perfectly with the Gatekeeper culture.

Karen Smith
Property Administrator
Karen joined Gatekeeper in January 2011 after working for 5 years at Springfield Property Rentals as PA to the owner and Block Manager. Her role encompassed looking after all the management process and procedures for 5 blocks of properties and apartments. Before turning her hand in the lettings industry Karen worked as PA to the Managing Director of Unipart Manufacturing Group, overseeing 7 companies including Japanese and German Joint Ventures.

Andrea Fijalkowski
Accounts Manager
Andrea joined Gatekeeper in January 2011. Andrea’s wealth of knowledge is surrounding the service and hospitality industry working for Local and National brands including the Four Pillars Hotel Group. Having managed the booking and administrative functions in her previous roles Andrea now ploughs her trade heading up the Gatekeeper Accounts function. Her all round accounts and client knowledge helps her support many of the functions across the Gatekeeper business including the Property Care and Lettings Teams.

Alycya Oldman
Call Centre Manager
Alycya joined Gatekeeper in 2011, after relocating from London. At the age of 22 Alycya has 8 years of retail and customer service experience within large retail chains such as Mothercare, and smaller independent businesses, where she worked buying seasonal lines from companies such as Ted Baker and O’Neill. Alycya is dedicated to providing top quality customer service and her hard working and up-beat personality make her a great part of the Gatekeeper team.
